Repashy 2 Part Diet
This product is designed for the more adventurous gecko keeper. It consists of 2 parts. The base contains all the nutritionally important ingredients. The Nectar is the flavor portion, and is available in several varieties. When used as an exclusive diet (no insects): Mix 60% MRP Base with 40% MRP Nectar BY WEIGHT (not volume) Add water to desired viscosity. Mixing at these ratios, replicates the nutritional analysis of the original Crested Gecko MRP formula. When used as part of a balanced diet (combined with regular insect feeding): The recipe above may be used as a supplemental diet, (part of a balanced diet), but if your geckos have a sweet tooth, you may use this recipe when also feeding significant amounts of insects. Mix 50% MRP Base with 50% MRP Nectar BY WEIGHT (not volume). Add water to desired viscosity. You can just mix two new equal size Base/Nectar containers together dry and save for future use. Dusted Insects should be offered several times a week. Other Uses: The MRP Base may also be used in conjunction with fresh fruit, babyfood, and fresh honey to create a complete diet or supplemental diet. There is no way to be precise with this method because different fruits have different levels of moisture , sugar, minerals, vitamins. Using a good average estimate for moisture and sugar content, a good place to start would be the following two recipe's For a complete diet, mix 33% MRP BASE with 66% fresh pureed fruit /fruit babyfood/fresh honey BY WEIGHT (not volume). For a supplemental diet , mix 25% MRP Base with 75% fresh pureed fruit /fruit babyfood/fresh honey BY WEIGHT (not volume)These are only guidlines, and if using this method, careful monitoring must be used, and results may vary.
